I’m an experienced and versatile UX designer, web developer, and graphic designer, with exceptionally strong graphic design skills. I started as an illustrator and got into design, then around 20 years ago, I made the move from print to the web.
I finished a contract with Cavex.io in August 2025, designing their Carbon Credit Trading Platform, and a contract with Excelicare, designing the UI for a web application.
Previously, I had a stint with Covetrus UK as a UX/UI Designer, working across the company’s product range, from UX/UI work on a Power BI product (code name Lightbulb) to an iOS/Android mobile app called MobileVet. I initially was part of the Dev Team, designing and coding, for about two years and then spent the remaining time with the Product Team exclusively designing.
Before that, I occupied the designer’s chair with Scotland’s only fintech lender, LendingCrowd, providing an all-purpose design service covering web, print, PPC ads, mobile apps, awards, exhibition, merchandising and email newsletters, and working on user journeys for investors and borrowers.
My portfolio is an eclectic mix of items, clients, and styles. While most of it is corporate, I’ve designed for Fringe shows, Healthcare, Education and Finance. I’ve recently rekindled my interest in illustration and have added examples of watercolour, pencils, and oils to my work. I’ve also exhibited multiple times at local exhibitions, competed in a Sky Arts landscape contest, and taken part in a record attempt for portrait painting.
I also strum a mean guitar.
